Job Description:
The organization provides Human Capital Management (HCM) software and payment-related services to clients, including managing payments to employees, tax agencies, and third parties.
As part of the AML Compliance Team, this role is responsible for ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Transaction Monitoring under Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
The AML Compliance Analyst II will perform daily KYC reviews and transaction monitoring activities to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and remediate AML alerts generated from transaction monitoring systems to identify potential suspicious activity
- Conduct KYC processes including Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews
- Execute AML compliance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ensure adherence to KYC/CIP policies and regulatory compliance requirements
- Investigate, document, and report suspicious activities in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain compliance with OFAC regulations across various customer risk profiles
- Collaborate with team members to escalate potential risks identified during transaction monitoring and KYC reviews
- Manage AML-related reports and assist in distributing assignments to team members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in AML/Compliance or related domain
- Experience reviewing high volumes of suspicious activity alerts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Experience using AML/KYC tools and systems for compliance monitoring
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BSA, AML, CIP, and related compliance standards
- Experience working with transaction monitoring and KYC software systems
