Project Manager – Finance Transformation & Enterprise Programs

Location: Hybrid (Dallas, TX – primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional early mornings for calls with an Ireland-based team

Employment Type: Contract with potential to convert to permanent- 1 YEAR CONTRACT

My client, a global leader in healthcare supply chain, pharmaceutical distribution, and technology solutions, is seeking a Project Manager to join their Finance Services & Solutions team. This individual will play a key role leading complex enterprise initiatives that drive financial, operational, and strategic transformation across the organization.

This is a high-visibility role working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs.

While the role is primarily remote, the team is based in Dallas, and candidates should be comfortable coming into the office occasionally for important meetings, workshops, or leadership sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large, complex enterprise programs, including technology implementations, operating model changes, and transformation initiatives
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams across Finance, Legal, IT, Supply Chain, Government Programs, and Operations teams
  • Manage project timelines, scope, risks, dependencies, and budgets while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates, executive presentations, and steering committee reports
  • Partner with business leaders to develop business cases, program roadmaps, and implementation strategies
  • Identify risks and proactively manage mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable financial and operational impact
  • Support organizational change efforts to drive adoption of new systems, processes, and capabilities

Qualifications

  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, dependency management, and risk/issue tracking across multiple workstreams
  • Experience supporting large, complex enterprise initiatives, particularly those involving new systems, integrations, or operating models
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-visibility, fast-moving, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to present updates and influence senior leadership
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, and Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with IT-enabled transformations, system implementations, and process redesign
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and connect insights across multiple workstreams
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills in matrixed organizations

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting initiatives within pharmaceutical, healthcare, biosimilars, or regulated industries
  • Background in private label or pharmaceutical product initiatives is a plus
  • Lean / Six Sigma or PMP certification is beneficial but not required
