We are partnering with one of the world's premier alternative investment managers to hire an Associate for its market-leading Private Equity Secondaries & Portfolio Finance investment team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for high-performing Investment Banking Analysts or Associates with strong M&A experience looking to transition into one of the most respected investing platforms globally. The team sits at the forefront of the rapidly growing secondaries market, investing across complex GP-led transactions, fund restructurings, continuation vehicles, NAV financing, and other innovative liquidity solutions.
You'll work directly alongside senior investors in a lean, highly collaborative environment, gaining exposure to sophisticated transactions across industries and investment structures.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and execute private equity secondaries and portfolio finance investments.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation, and investment underwriting.
- Build and maintain complex financial and cash flow models.
- Conduct commercial and financial due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations.
- Participate in management meetings, GP discussions, and transaction negotiations.
- Monitor portfolio investments and support ongoing value creation initiatives.
- Work across a diverse range of transaction types, including GP-led restructurings, continuation funds, NAV financing, LP interest financings, and secondary acquisitions.
Who We're Looking For
- 2+ years of Investment Banking experience with a strong M&A background.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience executing live transactions from diligence through closing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment.
- A genuine interest in private equity investing and the secondaries market.
