We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst / Analyst to join our Real Estate Portfolio Management team in Hong Kong on behalf of a reputable real estate fund manager. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset, solid financial modelling capabilities, and a keen interest in real estate investments across the region. You will support portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making for a diversified real estate investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed financial analysis and modelling of real estate assets, including cash flow projections, valuation, and scenario analysis
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide insights on asset-level and fund-level returns
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials, portfolio reviews, and investor reports
- Support asset management initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and business plan tracking
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform portfolio strategy and investment decisions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including asset managers, advisors, and service providers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, asset management, or investment banking RE (candidates with less experience will be considered for Analyst position)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel is essential
- Solid understanding of real estate investment concepts, valuation methodologies, and financial metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience covering Asia real estate markets
- Familiarity with portfolio management systems and data analytics tools
- CFA or progress towards CFA is a plus
