We are partnering with a highly active middle market private equity firm that is continuing to scale its portfolio of operating companies. The firm takes a hands-on approach to value creation and is looking to bring on a Director of Finance to support one of its priority investments. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction across executive leadership and the private equity sponsors.
The Director of Finance will own the finance function end-to-end, with responsibility across financial reporting, planning and analysis, and cash flow management. This is not a back-office role. You will be expected to operate in the details while also helping drive strategic decisions, improve performance, and build infrastructure that supports growth.
This opportunity is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment and enjoys building, improving, and owning processes. The role offers a strong blend of hands-on execution and strategic exposure, including involvement in key initiatives such as forecasting, operational improvement, and potential M&A activity.

Key Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in accounting and finance
- Background in public accounting, private equity, or PE-backed environments preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
