Position: Personal Lines Pricing Actuary Role
Location: Southwestern Ontario
Drive innovative auto pricing strategies as a Personal Lines Actuary. Contribute to new business and renewal pricing while collaborating with internal partners and regulators to enhance profitability.
This position focuses on developing effective premium and rating structures under general supervision. You’ll work on pricing models and reporting tools, gaining insights on loss costs and premiums.
Your role will enhance pricing sophistication through predictive model creation and portfolio performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pricing of new and renewal portfolios
• Develop and maintain pricing models and reporting
• Communicate with regulators on pricing topics
• Analyze trends and pricing impacts effectively
• Monitor portfolio performance and profitability
Requirements:
• 5–7 years in actuarial, ideally personal lines
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice or degree
• Progress towards actuarial designation required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical results clearly
