Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Specialist role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Payroll Specialist will process end-to-end payroll cycles, ensuring accurate and timely salary calculations, allowances, deductions, and benefits in compliance with company policies and local regulations. The role includes maintaining employee payroll records, updating changes related to hiring, terminations, promotions, and leaves, and coordinating with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data. The Payroll Specialist will handle payroll taxes, social insurance, and other statutory payments, as well as manage garnishments and other court-ordered deductions. Daily responsibilities also include responding to employee payroll inquiries, preparing payroll reports for management, supporting audits, and identifying process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in payroll administration and payroll processing, with the ability to manage end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes and related statutory requirements, including social insurance and other mandatory contributions.
  • Experience with payroll services and systems, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting using HRIS or ERP platforms.
  • Ability to manage garnishments and other deductions in accordance with legal and organizational guidelines.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and their application to payroll and general ledger entries.
  • High level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive employee and financial data.
  • Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial for working with local stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools for payroll analysis and reporting.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Officer, or similar role, ideally within real estate, construction, or large corporate environments.
