  • Responsible for customer order administration
  • Capture customer orders accurately and efficiently in the ERP system
  • Create orders manually in the ERP (via email, mass upload, or fax) based on customer requirements and business rules for third-party sales processes
  • Review and validate orders using optical character recognition (OCR) tools; update and resolve any issues
  • Monitor inbound and outbound customer interfaces through IDOCs to ensure proper system integration
  • Investigate failed IDOCs and liaise with relevant departments; report technical issues to IT or resolve independently where possible
  • Track and document changes in IDOCs and emails to justify updates from initial customer requests
  • Request IT support for master data maintenance (creation or updates) related to customer interfaces and partner functions
  • Execute integration activities within service level agreements to drive process efficiency
  • Monitor order validation exceptions to ensure accuracy and readiness for the next process stage
  • Resolve issues related to order incompletion or system blocks in accordance with business rules (e.g., products, customer segments)
  • Block orders for delivery or billing when required, and follow up to release once issues are resolved; coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., Distribution)
  • Monitor blocked orders and perform modifications based on stakeholder requests (e.g., delivery date or quantity changes), ensuring proper documentation
  • Liaise with local teams to ensure proper stock allocation and manage exceptions such as backorders and stock shortages
