POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for managing communications and providing administrative support to Loan Officers (and Branch Manager as necessary) in a fast-paced environment.

* After 6 months, we will review performance to explore the opportunity for a mentoring position to learn the origination side of the business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Supports Loan Officers (and Branch Manager as necessary) in the following capacity:

  • Develop all LO correspondence, including but not limited to:
  • Develop all Flyers (i.e. listing and marketing)
  • Mail thank you letters to all realtors for referrals
  • Manage monthly or quarterly newsletter for Los (including set up, mailings, and issuing deadlines for material)
  • Distribute Loan Status reports weekly to realtors
  • Email weekly rate sheet to realtor database
  • Call online applicants to obtain all info not provided
  • Call to report weekly loan status to customers
  • Follow up with previous pre-quals to maintain contact with customers who have not closed
  • Thank you letters for business for newly closed clients
  • Update and maintain closed loan database monthly
  • Attend weekly team meetings and bi-weekly LO meetings
  • Order appraisal and title and stack files in submission order on all new files before handing to processor (LO to review before hand off to processor)
  • Manage mortgage returns and top of minds
  • Track UTCs, closings, and lock expirations to meet deadlines
  • Inputting loan data from start to finish into E3

Position and Skill Requirements JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Educuation:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Knowledge / Ability:

  • Must be willing to take classes and testing to qualify for Federal / State Loan Officer License within first 6 months of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel & Word) and all Windows applications and the ability to learn and work with various Mortgage computerized applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills (including spelling/grammar skills), strong organizational skills, follow-up skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to relate and communicate in a professional, personable manner with all levels of management, internal and external contacts
  • Ability to prioritize and perform constantly changing multiple tasks in a very fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision, self-discipline, self-motivation, and self-reliance a plus

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years administrative support experience
  • 1 year Mortgage Industry experience preferred
  • Experience in call centers, leasing, collection agencies, or other customer service fields is desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to navigate throughout the building, travel throughout the community, and physically present self at real estate and other customer offices for marketing purposes. Must be able to hear and communicate well. Must have good eye-hand coordination and finger movement for use in computer software programs.
