Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Over-the-counter (OTC) Derivatives Services team within the Markets Services department in Danske Bank. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting bank’s derivatives business and help to run operations efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Within OTC Derivatives Services, we work with a broad range of corporate and institutional customers across Nordic countries and other Danske Bank Group locations.
As an OTC Derivatives Markets Specialist, you will take ownership of a variety of post-trade services, including derivatives cash settlements, reconciliations, investigations and continuous process improvements. You will handle tasks of medium complexity, working closely with stakeholders and customers and contributing to the stability and development of our operating model.
The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
You will:
- Ensure timely and accurate cash settlement of OTC derivatives
- Process transactions on behalf of clients and internal stakeholders
- Perform daily controls, break analysis and investigations on outstanding items
- Carry out account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
- Maintain and improve our register of SOPs
- Collaborate with colleagues from front offices in Nordic countries and global external partners via e-mail and phone
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimise processes using Lean principles
- Contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening control and efficiency in OTC derivatives operations
About you:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in post-trade services, securities operations, derivatives operations or a similar area within financial services
- Higher education, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, products and regulations
- Team-oriented and collaborative, enjoying knowledge sharing and working towards common goals
- Motivation to develop professionally and expand your expertise in OTC derivatives
- Upper-intermediate English language skills, both spoken and written

Monthly salary range from 2200 EUR to 3300 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
