In this role, the Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications will be responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with investors, analysts, and all external and internal stakeholders. The Manager will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement a compelling investor relations program. Critical to this program will be highlighting the company's sustainability strategy as that becomes a larger focus of the business. The successful candidate will also be expected to strategically manage and expand relationships in the equity research and investor community. They must regularly communicate the company's developments and strategy to investors and analysts, as well as promptly address their questions and concerns. In addition, this person will be responsible for developing internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become the “Go To” source of communication for the company, both internally and externally
- Upgrade the company's Investor Relations and Corporate Communications functions to best-in-class status
- Develop strong expertise in the company's business, financials, performance metrics and valuation – become a highly valued and respected contributor to the company
- Develop and deliver the company's story to build investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
- Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework that highlights the company's expanding work within sustainability
- Build and maintain the company’s IR and PR calendar to enhance transparency and frequency of effective communication
- Assume responsibility for the company’s investor targeting program, shareholder analytics and measurement of investor outreach to ensure an appropriate return on management’s time
- Manage and expand equity research and investor relationships; promptly address analyst, investor, and media questions
- Develop a thorough understanding of analyst models and valuation methodology to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with outside Investor Relations advisors
- Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team and Board of Directors
- Analyze and present strategies and financial trends, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business
- Responsible for scripting and generally managing quarterly earnings and conference calls
- Enhance and maintain the company’s IR website
- Work with Chief Corporate Counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory matters
- Help prepare the company’s Annual Report, Sustainability Report, Proxy Statement, 10-K and 10-Q’s
- Develop and execute communications plans for internal and external stakeholders; craft and manage executive communications.

The Manager of IR and Corporate Communications must be a seasoned professional who has extensive experience in generating business results and leading teams with effective management skills. Success in this role requires collaboration, immersion in the business, clear communication, leadership, and vision.
Qualifications desired for the Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications are:
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
- An MBA is also preferred
- 5 or more years of experience with the investor community and a strong track record of building relationships with the investment and sell-side analyst communities
- ESG-related experience with a focus on Sustainability/Energy Transition
- Strong understanding of SEC laws (including Reg FD (Regulation Fair Disclosure)) and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of metrics most relevant to the investment community
- Intimately familiar with financial modelling techniques and valuation methodologies used by analysts and investors
- A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
- A professional who is also entrepreneurial and has a client-minded focus
- Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to quickly become an expert on the business and to garner the respect of internal and external stakeholders
- Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors. At times, one must be able to effectively influence without authority
