Job Purpose
- Supports the Department Head in implementing and providing inputs to new products/businesses and enhancements to current product and systems covered by the loans product life-cycle.
- Assists the Department Head in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conducts research to assess product/business viability.
- Develops business model, identifies target market, product positioning, business strategy and business requirements of new and current products/business.
- Responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Closely works and collaborates with the Department Head to support project planning, execution, and monitoring, while also taking on leadership responsibilities within the team.
Job Requirements
- Must be a graduate of Commerce or Business Management, Information Technology or Engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience in R&D for innovation projects, product development or project management preferably in banking, financial or telecommunications industry; was able to conceptualize and develop new products for previous companies; exposure to agile project management methodology is an advantage.
- Must have passion for innovation, able to come up with ideas, strategize and put it into action
