Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Junior Fund Raising Professional. The role involves identifying potential investors, conducting outreach and relationship-building efforts, and developing strategies to achieve fundraising goals. Responsibilities also include preparing fundraising proposals, maintaining accurate records of donor communications, and collaborating with team members to support financial initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate fundraising strategies and financial data
- Basic understanding of investments and finance, with experience in fund accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Prior experience or internships in fundraising, finance, or nonprofit organizations is advantageous
