Title: Junior Finance Administrator
Company: Kinalta Group
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
🌟Exciting Opportunity for Early Career Finance Professionals🌟
Kinalta Group is looking for a Junior Finance Administrator to join our Cape Town support office.
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance administrator who enjoys taking ownership, and keeping the numbers clean and accurate. This role will support the day-to-day finance operations of a UK-based healthcare business, with the opportunity to expand across multiple entities as the organisation grows—helping manage and maintain strong financial processes, ongoing invoicing and payroll queries and accurate reporting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident in managing their responsibilities independently. You’ll work closely with the administrative team while owning your area of responsibility and helping maintain finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing: Prepare, review, and issue accurate monthly client invoices and quickly resolve invoicing queries.
- Payroll Support: Review weekly/monthly timesheets and prep payroll data for our external UK payroll provider and assist with payroll queries.
- Accounts Payable: Capture and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and timely management.
- Bookkeeping: Complete day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in Xero, including reconciliations, transaction categorisation, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly financial and operational reports for the director. Over time, we'd like you to contribute ideas, identify trends, and help improve the information used to make business decisions.
- Collaboration: Work alongside both UK-based and CT-based team members.
What We Are Looking For
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with numbers, cloud systems, and spreadsheets.
- Eye for Detail: Naturally organised, precise, and focused on accuracy.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with international teams and clients.
- Proactive Attitude: Curious, problem-solver, eager to learn, and confident enough to ask questions and take ownership of tasks.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and general computer literacy
What We Offer
- Work-Life Balance: Modern hybrid working model with a vibrant office in the heart of Gardens, Cape Town.
- Growth: Structured training and ongoing professional development
- Global Exposure: First-hand experience in international finance operations and UK business structures.
- Culture: The opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team of young professionals.
- Compensation: R25,000 CTC per month + Medical Aid subsidy.
