Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and support in monthly financial reconciliations.
  • Help in preparing management reports and schedules.
  • Support the Finance Executive/Manager during month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all finance-related documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for payment processing and information gathering.
  • Assist in preparing tax submissions, statutory payments, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Handle petty cash and related documentation.
  • Carry out banking-related tasks such as visiting banks to obtain facility letters, submit documents, and manage other required banking activities.
  • Perform any other finance and administrative tasks assigned by the Finance Team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably including auditing experience in an audit firm.
  • Part-qualified in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA, or an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (QB) and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
