Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) has partnered with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify an Interim Controller.
Highlights of the Organization:

- Supporting individuals and families in Rhode Island through dozens of programs
- Currently operating across 7 locations
- Hybrid working schedule
The Interim Controller Will Assist the Organization During a Time of Transition, including:
- Overseeing the month-end close
- Reviewing accounts payable
- Managing a team of 9
- Approving third party billing
- Tracking grant compliance
- Ensuring year-end regulatory filings
- Overseeing intercompany transactions
- Gathering documentation for federal, state, and private grants
Background Expected of the Interim Controller:
- BS in Accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- CPA is a bonus but not required
- 5+ years of progressive experience accounting including 2+ years of supervision
- Nonprofit industry experience is preferred
