We are working with a market-leading professional services firm to recruit an Assistant Manager into their Insurance Regulatory Assurance team.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will support and lead the delivery of controls and regulatory assurance engagements across a portfolio of insurance clients.

  • Delivering controls assurance and controls testing engagements
  • Advising clients on internal control frameworks and oversight models
  • Supporting clients in responding to regulatory developments
  • Assessing risk management and governance frameworks
  • Reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures and control documentation
  • Managing day-to-day client interactions and stakeholder expectations
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Insurance (risk, controls, regulatory, internal audit)
  • Operational risk or enterprise risk management
  • Regulatory advisory within financial services
  • Experience gained in another professional services firm
  • Strong understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks
  • Experience delivering controls testing or equivalent assurance work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, ambitious and team-oriented mindset

Degree-level education (or equivalent) is required.
