Role Description The Head of Financial Planning Analysis is a full-time, on-site role based in Ulaanbaatar. This position oversees the development and execution of financial and business planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial modeling. The role involves leading the FP&A function, preparing and analyzing financial reports, providing insights to senior leadership, and supporting strategic decision-making. Daily responsibilities include supervising financial analysis, monitoring performance against plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve profitability and efficiency. The Head of Financial Planning Analysis will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, refine financial systems and tools, and ensure alignment between financial plans and the company’s fintech-focused strategy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Budgeting skills to design, manage, and optimize forecasting and budget processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Business Planning capabilities and Analytical Skills to support strategic initiatives and evaluate financial performance.
- Candidates should possess a robust foundation in Finance, including financial modeling, reporting, and interpretation of key performance indicators.
- Candidates should possess leadership skills, with experience managing FP&A or finance teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
- Candidates should possess advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial planning tools; experience with ERP or BI systems is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in fintech, financial services, or a technology-driven environment is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
