Position Overview
BFG Global Consulting Limited is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Head of Finance &
Accounting to lead the organisation’s financial operations, drive financial innovation, and
support the company’s growth objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of financial
management—including financial modelling, accounting operations, compliance, budgeting, and
financial reporting—while also leading capital-raising initiatives through innovative project
funding, grants acquisition, and strategic partnership development.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong analytical capability, deep financial acumen,
and proven experience in both traditional accounting and modern financial innovation
environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Modelling & Analysis
• Develop, maintain, and optimise advanced financial models to support business planning,
forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Provide scenario analysis, risk modelling, and financial insights to inform strategic
decisions.
• Evaluate new business initiatives, projects, and partnerships through rigorous financial
analysis.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
2. Accounting Operations Management
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and
compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, and audit support.
• Maintain effective internal controls and implement financial policies, procedures, and best
practices.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation, and general ledger
functions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
3. Capital Raising & Funding Strategy
• Drive capital-raising efforts for innovation projects through grants, donor funding, impact
investment, and strategic partnerships.
• Identify and develop proposals for competitive grant opportunities and innovation
funding schemes.
• Lead financial structuring for project financing, including budgeting, costing, and
compliance documentation.
• Cultivate relationships with funding agencies, investors, financial partners, and innovation
networks.
• Monitor and report on grant utilisation, donor compliance, and funding performance.
4. Strategic Leadership & Business Support
• Serve as a key member of the leadership team contributing to corporate strategy, growth
planning, and operational excellence.
• Provide financial guidance to project teams, innovation units, and business development
functions.
• Support the development of long-term financial sustainability strategies.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
