About the Company
Our client, a Seed Stage FinTech start-up, is building the finance stack for ad-spend, a $1T a year market. They issue credit and deliver the best media buying experience for brands, agencies, and small businesses to grow their businesses through ads. They are the only firm to specialized in this space making them the true industry leader.
The company started in 2024 and are just 6 people big (and currently growing). They’re seeking someone smart and hungry to join them and help them continue to build and scale. They are located in San Francisco with a beautiful office and tons of amenities including consistently catered food. As a true high-growth and high-performing start-up, they work 6 days a week in person to make their product a reality.

The Role
They are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to take on ownership of the Finance Division within the business. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role and make a direct impact on a high-growth start-up environment.
What You’ll Do
The Head of Finance will report directly to the CEO and oversee the financial needs and division of the company.
- Build in-depth financial models to be used internally and externally
- Work directly with the CEO to raise debt and equity
- Lead all investor and board reporting – weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly
- Lead all finance functions in the business and continue to scale the function as they look to grow
- Support fundraising rounds by managing and closing our term sheets with potential investors
What They’re Looking For
They’re looking for someone with a strong Financial Background, with Start-Up experience. A strong work ethic and the desire to win will go a long way. They want someone who will envision their long term success and the success of the business and drive initiatives forward with that motivation. As for skillset, they are looking for:
- Extensive financial modeling experience
- Experience raising debt and equity within a business
- Successful experience working in a fintech / credit / debt market (product knowledge)
- Direct experience supporting companies through funding rounds and fundraising (multiple rounds preferred)
- A sense of agency and urgency with a strong ‘no-bullshit energy
