A rare opportunity for a senior finance leader ready to build
We're partnering with a fast-growing, institutional-grade quantitative hedge fund expanding across global markets. They're looking for a Group Head of Finance to take full ownership of the firm's finance function and help architect a world-class investment platform from the ground up.
What makes this different:
You'll be the first person in the seat too designing the controls, building the team, and shaping the finance infrastructure across a complex multi-entity global structure including regulated entities, holding companies, employment companies, and cross-border fund structures. Direct line to the COO and founding leadership. Real ownership, from day one.
The scope:
✦ Full remit across corporate accounting, fund accounting, tax, treasury, and procurement
✦ Multi-jurisdiction structuring including Asia based cross-border operations
✦ NAV oversight, investor reporting, management and incentive fee flows
✦ Tax and transfer pricing across entities and jurisdictions
✦ Building and leading a high calibre finance team over time
Who they're looking for:
✦ 15–20 years of progressive finance experience, with significant senior leadership tenure
✦ Strong buyside background will be preferred (e.g. hedge fund, multi-manager platform, or proprietary trading)
✦ Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA); CFA or MBA a plus
✦ Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment
✦ Experience with Asia-based and China-related cross-border structures a strong advantage
