As the Head Accountant, you will be responsible for owning the full cycle of accounting operations. You’ll oversee everything from day-to-day transactions to monthly close, reporting directly to leadership and helping shape the financial direction of a growing company. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role in a business that’s making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting functions: Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), general ledger, and financial reporting
Maintain accurate records and reconciliations using QuickBooks
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for leadership
Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and forecast financial trends
Ensure GAAP compliance and uphold internal controls
Support audits and tax filings in collaboration with external partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of professional accounting experience
Expert with QuickBooks and strong ledger management skills
Deep knowledge of A/P and A/R processes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
CPA certification is a plus, but not required
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range of $80,000–$100,000
