Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Controller role located in Tampa, FL. The Accounting Controller will oversee financial operations including preparing and analyzing financial statements, creating and maintaining accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with business controls. The role involves implementing efficient financial processes and delivering insights to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities will include financial data review, supervising financial reporting, and ensuring accurate financial management practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Business Control and Construction Financial Reporting
- Proficient in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Finance and Financial Management
- Excellent Analytical Skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to implement and improve financial processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with the construction or design/build industry is a plus
