About The Role
We are looking for a Group Chief Accountant to strengthen our group-level accounting function. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the group, while driving consistency and quality in accounting practices.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, sound professional judgement, and the ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and oversee group consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting under IFRS
- Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all group entities
- Maintain and improve the group chart of accounts and reporting structures
- Perform and review complex accounting entries, including non-routine transactions
- Ensure high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and support robust closing processes
- Act as a key contact for external auditors, supporting audit processes and resolving queries
- Support the preparation of annual reports, financial disclosures and external (non-statutory) reporting.
- Execute intercompany transactions and invoicing in line with Group TP policy.
- Contribute to strengthening internal controls and improving accounting processes
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to improve data quality and reporting accuracy
What You Bring
- 8+ years of strong experience in group accounting, consolidation, and reporting
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Solid experience working with external auditors
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong ERP knowledge (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
- Fluency in English & Estonian (preferred).
