Graduate Finance Assistant with experience – City of London – up to £36,000 – Imminent Start Required – 12 month FTC
We are looking for a Graduate Finance Assistant, with 1-2 years accounting experience, to join a Central London organisation in their Finance function on a 12-month FTC.
We’re looking for a graduate (or equivalent), in Accounting, Finance or Business, with 1-2 years’ experience working in an accounts department, preferably within a client-based industry.
You will be efficient and organised with a strong eye for detail and accuracy and will be able to work with limited supervision.

Please note: This 12m fixed term contract role will ideally start in July, therefore we are looking for suitable candidates who are available imminently and not on significant notice.
The Finance Assistant will support with the following:
- General financial and administrative support to the Finance function
- Global banking reconciliations
- Import and export reporting (Excel)
- Assisting with management reporting
- Credit control and debt recovery support
- Intercompany accounting and balance reconciliations
What we’re looking for:
- Graduate (or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business – essential
- 1 -2 years’ relevant experience working in a Finance team, ideally within a client-based industry
- Part qualified accountant is advantageous
- Generalist knowledge of accounting and finance duties
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong IT literacy with MS Office skills including Word and Excel
- Team player
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
