NSB Omega is searching for a Financial Specialist for our Client in Houston, TX.
Assignment Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, variances, and opportunities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business initiatives
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, modeling, pivot tables)
- Experience with financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
