The Role
This role will act as a key finance business partner to the Japan organization, supporting financial planning, performance management, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and regional HQ, providing insights that drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
- Delivering monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and business insights
- Partnering with commercial teams to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control
- Supporting business cases, scenario analysis, and ad‑hoc financial modeling
- Ensuring alignment with regional and global finance frameworks
- Driving process improvements and enhancing reporting efficiency and transparency
Your Skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Fluent Japanese and business‑level English
- Experience in FP&A, business finance, or commercial finance
- Preferred: Background in consumer goods, FMCG, direct selling, retail, or similar industries
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder‑management skills
- Solid analytical capability with strong Excel / financial modeling skills
- Experience working in a multinational organization
- Proactive mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
