Finance Director
Components for building sector – Bucharest
Reporting to the General Manager and, in dotted line, to the Group CFO, the Finance Director will have the full responsibility of handling of all the Administration, Finance, Controlling, Tax & Legal task of the Romanian branch. The Finance Director will coordinate a team composed by 5 people and will be also responsible for the HR and Compensation topics.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independent handling of all accounting tasks
- Posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
- Settlements, verification, monitoring, and reconciliation with business partners
- Preparation and booking of compensation, assignments, and other accounting payments
- Calculation and posting of cash and travel orders
- Recording and booking of business trips and employee expense reports
- Continuous monitoring of legal changes in accounting and integration into work processes
- Active monitoring of compliance with regulations in accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes
- Taking on additional administrative and financial tasks as needed
- Collaboration with banks, tax authorities, and other government institutions
- Independent preparation and analysis of all statistical and financial reports
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and corporate group guidelines
- Participation in and support of annual financial and budget planning in close collaboration with the General Manager and corporate stakeholders
- Management of accounts receivable, including the establishment and utilization of a dunning system
- Coordination and cooperation with external auditors
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification in accounting/finance
- At least 5 years of professional experience as Finance Manager / Finance Director of Sales Branches belonging to multinational groups
- Sound knowledge of tax law and accounting principles
- Confident use of accounting software and MS Office
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
- Willingness to take on additional commercial tasks
- English is mandatory. Italian language skills are an advantage
