Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Controller to lead the finance function for an owner-driven organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, business acumen, and hands-on experience in managing finance operations in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Drive financial planning and analysis to support business strategy and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions efficiently
- Partner closely with promoters/owners on financial strategy and growth plans
- Implement and strengthen internal controls and financial processes
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and consultants
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of relevant experience
- Prior experience working in an owner-driven or entrepreneurial setup is essential
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of Indian taxation, compliance, and financial regulations
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced and evolving business environments
