Your New Role
As Financial Analyst, Plant Finance, you will report to the Director of Finance and act as a key finance partner to plant management and regional leadership. The role supports month‑end close, manufacturing cost analysis, forecasting, and operational decision‑making. You will work closely with operations to translate production and cost data into meaningful financial insights and help drive efficiency across the plant.
There is clear opportunity for progression into a Senior Analyst position and, longer term, a Team Lead role within the finance group.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (MBA an asset)
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent designation preferred or in progress
- 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis or accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Working knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (JDE preferred) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both finance and operations teams
- Interest in developing a deep understanding of plant operations and costing processes
