Pay Range: $75-$80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance by collecting, validating, and interpreting financial and operational data.
- Prepare cost analyses by establishing standard costs and evaluating operational expenses.
- Compare actual financial results against budgets, forecasts, and business plans to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support business planning and management decisions.
- Reconcile financial transactions by reviewing, verifying, and correcting discrepancies.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial databases through data entry, validation, and regular backups.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Assist in developing and enhancing automated financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.
- Stay current on financial regulations, accounting practices, and industry trends through ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and organizational goals.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
