A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to play an important part in company-wide reporting of analytics surrounding all facets of the manufacturing process including budgeting process support for both capital and operational departments.
The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities with an understanding of manufacturing operations, cost structures, and operational metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support the annual budget and forecasting processes
- Monitor financial performance and provide analysis of variances versus plan
- Develop financial models to evaluate different business and operational scenarios
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, overhead, and inventory impacts
- Build and update reporting tools and dashboards to support leadership decision-making
- Prepare financial presentations and analyses for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA is a plus
- Prior experience within a manufacturing environment is desired
- At least 2+ years' financial analysis and modeling experience
- Previous experience with SAP is desired
- an advanced Excel skill set is necessary including modeling experience
