Barden is delighted to have been engaged by our client to identify a Finance Analyst to join their team.
This is a newly created role within a growing business, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making. This role would suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and turning financial data into meaningful business insights.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic business decisions.
- Perform scenario analysis, investment appraisals, and cash flow forecasting.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the business.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, providing meaningful commercial insights.
- Analyse financial performance, including margin and variance analysis, to support decision-making.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility of key business metrics.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, supporting commercial initiatives and process improvements.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as the organisation continues to grow.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or similar analytical finance role.
- Strong financial modelling experience.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- WIP analysis experience would be highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, commercially focused, and keen to contribute in a fast-paced, growing business.
