Join a growing mining company on a 2 month contract as a Financial Accountant
We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our client on a 2 month contract to provide critical support during year end reporting and the external audit process. This is a hands on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the team, work autonomously and contribute from day one. Pronto experience is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with year end financial reporting requirements
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the external audit process, including audit request management and documentation preparation
- Prepare journals, accruals and month end adjustments
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements
- Analyse financial data and investigate variances
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Liaise with auditors and key internal stakeholders
- Provide general financial accounting support to the finance team during a busy reporting period
About You
- CA or CPA qualification
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant position
- Strong year end and audit experience
- Advanced reconciliation and financial reporting skills
- Pronto ERP experience, essential
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
