About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Specialist to support the Finance Manager in our German subsidiary. This role is ideal for candidates who want to further develop their expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance within an international environment.

Xiamen Golden Egret Special Alloy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GESAC"), founded in 1989, is a core member of Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. The company maintains a fully integrated production chain encompassing tungsten powder, tungsten carbide powder, cemented carbide, and cutting tools. It is a world-renowned supplier and exporter of tungsten and tungsten carbide powders, as well as a premier manufacturer and service provider of high-quality cemented carbide and precision tools. In 2024, GESAC achieved a revenue of approximately €633.8 million (a year-on-year increase of 10.56%) and a net profit of €59.5 million. GESAC operates two subsidiaries in Germany: Golden Egret Carbide Germany GmbH (GESAC Deutschland,Established in 2014) and the newly acquired, wholly-owned subsidiary Mimatic GmbH.

Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. (XTC), established in 1958, is a publicly-traded company listed in Mainland China, Employing nearly 18,000 people worldwide. XTC’s business covers tungsten, molybdenum, rare earth, new energy material, real estate etc. After thirty-year’s development, the company has established a complete chain of tungsten industry ranging from tungsten mining, smelting, downstream processing to tungsten secondary resource recovery. In recent years, the company has demonstrated steady growth in deep-processing tungsten sectors—such as cutting tools, wear-resistant components, and mining tools—while achieving rapid advancements in rare earth magnetic materials, phosphors, and lithium battery materials. In 2024, the group’s revenue exceeded €4.51 billion, with a net profit of €221.5 million.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB); ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  2. Budget & Cost Control Support: Support budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis; assist in monitoring costs across departments (R&D, production, sales).
  3. Tax & Audit Coordination: Prepare documentation for tax filings and audits; liaise with external tax advisors and auditors under supervision of the Finance Manager.
  4. Treasury & Payment Processing: Support daily treasury operations including payment processing, bank reconciliations, and liquidity tracking.
  5. Business & Data Analysis: Assist in financial analysis, reporting, and preparation of management reports to support business decision-making.
  6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Support the implementation and maintenance of internal control systems and contribute to the digitalization of finance processes.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  2. Initial professional experience (1–3 years) in accounting or finance in Germany
  3. Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  5. Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team
  6. Fluent in English; German or Chinese are a strong advantage
