Finance Manager Jobs in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at Kiri Capital
Title: Finance Manager
Company: Kiri Capital
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Join Kiri Capital, a global real estate group, in a Finance Manager role focused exclusively on its Canadian platform.
Your New Employer
Your new employer is Kiri Capital, a privately owned global real estate platform with long-dated capital and an institutional mindset. The business manages assets across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe, with a strong emphasis on stewardship, financial integrity, and disciplined execution rather than transactional churn.
The Canadian platform is a core contributor to the broader portfolio and operates with a lean local team, working closely with Group Finance and Treasury based in Asia. This is a stable, long-term environment that values clarity, consistency, and sound judgment.
Your New Role
As Finance Manager, you will be the lead finance professional responsible for the financial control and reporting of the Canadian entities. Reporting functionally to Group Finance in Asia and working closely with the Head of Canada, this role connects local operations with global oversight.
You will own the books end-to-end, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, and maintain Yardi as the system of record. You will ensure alignment between property manager reporting, bank activity, and the general ledger, addressing issues proactively.
The role includes oversight of accounts payable and receivable in coordination with property managers, review of lease abstracts and escalation schedules, and ensuring rental income and recoveries are accurately reflected.
You will prepare management reporting, cash flow analysis, and variance explanations for senior stakeholders, support annual budgeting and forecasting, and ensure results align with approved asset plans.
You will coordinate tax compliance across GST, vacancy tax, property tax, and corporate income tax, working with external advisors as needed. You will also support audits, lender reporting, and ad hoc requests, while helping improve processes and documentation between Canada and Group Finance.
What Sets You Apart
You’re ideally a CPA with experience owning a full set of accounts end-to-end within a real estate, real asset, or similarly complex environment. Experience within private investment platforms or asset-owning structures is strongly preferred.
You are comfortable operating as the sole finance professional in-country and take pride in ownership rather than delegation. You are detail-oriented but commercially aware, able to connect financial results to underlying activity.
You are a clear and confident communicator, capable of working with senior stakeholders across regions, including Group Finance in Asia and external advisors in Canada. You value discretion, consistency, and long-term thinking, and you are comfortable working in a lean, high-trust environment without the need for constant oversight or visibility.
What You Can Expect
This is a long-term opportunity within a stable, globally backed platform that values calm execution and financial clarity. You will have real ownership over your function and play a critical role in ensuring the Canadian platform operates smoothly, predictably, and with confidence at the group level.
Success in this role is measured not by visibility or title progression, but by trust, accuracy, and the quiet compounding of credibility over time.
