We’re looking for a Finance Manager to own our financial operations and act as a strategic partner to the executive team as we enter into a new phase of growth. You’ll bring structure and efficiency to our finance function, ensure compliance across our operations, and provide the data-driven insights needed to scale sustainably in the rapidly evolving blockchain space.
What you’ll do
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead monthly close, budgeting, forecasting; build dynamic models for scenario planning and growth strategy, all including on-chain and FIAT transactions.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate financial statements (IFRS/GAPSME), manage tax filings, and coordinate audits.
Treasury & Cash Management: Optimise cash flow and oversee crypto-FIAT treasury operations, manage banking relationships.
Fundraising Support: Prepare investor-ready financial decks, unit economics, and due diligence packages for funding rounds or strategic partnerships.
Operational Finance: Manage AP/AR, payroll, various revenue channels, vendor contracts, and expense policies; streamline workflows with automation.
Systems & Process Improvement: Improve usage of financial systems including Quickbooks and internal crypto-accounting solution.
Strategic Advisory: Provide financial insights on pricing, profitability of services, ROI of new initiatives, and risk mitigation.
Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales to understand business drivers and translate them into financial plans.
What you bring to the table
Education: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent); Big 4 experience preferred
Experience: 7+ years in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; blockchain experience will be considered an asset.
Blockchain Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain mechanics: wallets, private keys, multi-sigs, cross-chain bridges.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP; advanced Excel skills, experience with AI and automation tools is a plus.
Mindset: Proactive problem-solver who can build processes from scratch, communicate clearly with non-finance teams, and thrive in ambiguity.
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of crypto regulations (e.g., MiCA, FATF guidelines) and multi-jurisdiction compliance is highly valued.
