Position: Tax Advisor Role
FBC seeks a Tax Advisor & Preparer based in Newmarket, ON. This full-time, hybrid position involves face-to-face interactions with Members to optimize their tax strategies.
In this role, you’ll engage with Members to assess their financial circumstances and offer customized advice on tax planning. You will be at the forefront of establishing trustful relationships while introducing Members to FBC’s extensive services. Your analytical skills will assist Members in filing accurate T1 and T2 tax returns, boosting their financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer accurate tax advice tailored to Member needs
• Cultivate strong relationships for ongoing referrals
• Connect Members with company resources and specialists
• Document all Member interactions thoroughly
• Prepare and file T1 and T2 returns effectively
Requirements:
• At least 1 year experience in tax preparation
• Familiarity with Taxprep and Xero software
• Background in preparing small business tax returns
• Experience with corporate tax documentation
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
