Founded in 1985, Rayglass designs and manufactures world class fibreglass boats and rhibs under the Legend and Protector brands. With two Auckland facilities and as part of Brunswick Corporation, home to Mercury Marine, Navico and Freedom Boat Club, Rayglass combines local heritage with global scale.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function for Rayglass and partner with the leadership team to drive business performance, profitability and strategic decision making. This is a key role focused on financial leadership, commercial insight and strong governance across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis activities
- Delivering accurate monthly reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow performance
- Partnering with operational leaders to improve business performance, productivity and profitability
- Driving pricing, margin and cost analysis across product lines
- Strengthening financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks
- Providing insight into manufacturing performance, working capital, capital investments and continuous improvement initiatives
What you will bring:
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- 8+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
- Proven experience partnering with operational leaders to influence business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information
- A hands on, commercially minded approach combined with strong integrity and leadership capability
