Role Description This is a full-time, hybrif role for a Finance Manager at Jimo Real Estate. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include monitoring revenue and expenses, preparing monthly and quarterly management reports, and supporting leadership with data-driven financial insights and recommendations. The role involves managing financial controls, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, and coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. The Finance Manager will also support strategic planning, evaluate new initiatives or investments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance in a fast-growing, tech-enabled real estate environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, management accounting, and preparing dashboards for leadership.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment or project evaluation.
  • Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate clear, actionable insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing cash flow, working capital, and banking or lender relationships.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication and time management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in real estate development, proptech, or high-growth tech-enabled businesses is a plus.
