Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Finance Manager to strengthen and scale our finance operations, financial governance, audit readiness, and compliance framework as the company expands internationally.
This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of finance activities, including financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, tax compliance, audit coordination, and internal financial controls. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, operational finance experience, and the ability to enhance finance systems and processes to support a fast-growing technology company with regional operations across Singapore, China, Malaysia, Europe, and other international markets.
The candidate is expected to drive finance discipline, improve reporting visibility, strengthen audit and compliance readiness, and support management with timely financial insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, treasury, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Deliver timely financial analysis, variance reporting, and KPI tracking to support management decision-making.
• Support business planning, forecasting, and financial modeling for company growth initiatives.
• Monitor profitability, operating expenses, project costing, and working capital performance.
• Enhance and strengthen finance systems, internal controls, and financial governance processes to support regional and global business expansion.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency across finance functions.
• Establish scalable finance workflows and documentation standards to improve reporting accuracy and audit readiness.
• Ensure effective utilization and optimization of accounting and ERP/finance software systems.
• Lead preparation for internal and external audits and ensure full compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
• Strengthen audit compliance processes, documentation controls, and financial policies to support investor, board, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IRAS regulations, GST submissions, tax filings, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow, liquidity, and banking activities.
• Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and recommend strategies to optimize working capital and financial efficiency.
• Support annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and business performance reviews.
• Partner with management teams across regions to support operational and commercial decisions.
• Support finance coordination across Singapore, China, Malaysia, Europe, and other regional operations.
• Work closely with operations, HR, procurement, and management teams to ensure alignment of financial controls and reporting standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in technology, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations, SFRS, GST, IRAS compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience managing external audits, tax compliance, and financial governance processes.
• Proven experience in strengthening finance systems, internal controls, and operational finance processes.
• Familiarity with regional finance operations and multi-entity/inter-company accounting is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting investor reporting, fundraising, or due diligence processes.
• Exposure to regional or international finance operations. (SG, MY, TW, EU)
• Experience in a start up environment
• Experience in scaling finance operations for high-growth companies.
