Our client, a dynamic and innovative gaming company, is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join their team in Malta. The role requires active involvement in the planning, execution, and control of the company's business strategy to achieve its objectives by preparing and analysing reports, budgets, and forecasts that support strategic decision-making. The professional must interpret financial and operational data to identify variances, propose improvements, and act as a bridge between departments and senior management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate in the preparation and management of the annual budget, as well as the company's strategic planning.
- Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Analyse actual financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and their underlying causes.
- Reporting: Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and analyses for senior management.
- Process Control: Design and oversee information and accounting systems, and establish processes to improve financial performance.
- Decision-Making Support: Provide management with data-driven insights and recommendations to ensure strategic decisions are based on objective information.
- Risk Management: Anticipate risks and propose corrective actions and measures to reduce uncertainty.
- Project Analysis: Assess the profitability of investment projects and work with teams to ensure their successful implementation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Financial and Accounting Knowledge: A solid foundation for interpreting financial data.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data from a variety of sources, including financial, operational, logistics, and commercial information.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all departments.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to understand and contribute to the company's long-term objectives.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 5 years in similar roles; experience within the gaming industry is highly valued.
- Languages: English is required. Spanish and Italian are considered valuable assets.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €40,000 – €50,000 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
