For a fast-growing financial services player, we are currently hiring a Finance Manager to lead the internal finance function across accounting, controlling, treasury, and regulatory reporting.
This role is ideally suited for someone with around 5 years of experience within a bank and at least 1 year of experience within a FinTech environment, bringing a well-rounded understanding of regulated financial services alongside exposure to more dynamic, high-growth settings. The ideal candidate will have broad operational finance experience rather than a niche transaction or fund-focused background.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial aspects of the Swiss branch operations, including group accounting, accounting assurance, or accounting policy experience in banking through either:
- Big 4 accounting experience plus subsequent banking/FSO experience (preferred)
- Banking/ FSO accounting experience
- Big4 accounting with a banking/FSO project focus (Manager/Senior manager level)
- Financial and regulatory reporting
- Manage Swiss-specific regulatory filings and ensure full compliance with local tax and regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate with group planning functions to ensure alignment on capital and liquidity planning for the Swiss entity
- Establish and monitor local financial controls to safeguard the branch's assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as the primary financial representative for the Swiss branch
- Provide financial insights and analysis to Group Management to support local business strategy
Qualifications:
- Senior finance professional with approx 8-12 years of experience in a regulated Swiss banking environment
- Expert in Swiss-specific accounting standards and the management of local tax and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record in handling regulatory reporting for the FINMA and other Swiss financial authorities
- University graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Hands-on professional with the ability to bridge local Swiss requirements with group-wide financial standards in Germany
- Nice to have: Understanding of capital and liquidity management within the framework of a foreign bank branch
