Role Description
As the Finance Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day finance function and support leadership with accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. You’ll partner with internal teams and external advisors to strengthen financial controls, maintain statutory obligations, and keep the business running smoothly. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct people management.
What you’ll do
Financial reporting, close & treasury
- Run monthly close across multiple entities, including journals, reconciliations, and management reporting
- Own day-to-day finance operations: invoicing/collections (AR), bill payments (AP), and payroll coordination
- Manage cash flow and treasury, including multi-currency transactions, rolling cash forecasting, and FX exposure monitoring
Planning, analysis & decision support
- Maintain the operating model: budget, forecast, and Budget vs Actuals tracking with clear variance commentary and actions
- Build and maintain financial models for pricing, growth scenarios, hiring plans, and strategic initiatives
- Provide practical, data-driven support to the leadership team – translate numbers into decisions, priorities, and clear next steps
Governance, compliance & process improvement
- Own the end-to-end finance function as a hands-on individual contributor: execute, improve processes, and strengthen controls
- Manage statutory compliance, tax and filings across jurisdictions, working with external advisors and accountants as required
- Lead R&D grant preparation and supporting evidence gathering in collaboration with engineering and external advisors
- Own procurement and spend governance: manage vendors and subscriptions, maintain renewals visibility, and ensure purchasing discipline
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (or related) and CA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) required
- 5+ years’ progressive experience across financial accounting, FP&A and consolidation (multi-entity/multi-region preferred)
- Strong grasp of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and financial controls
- Proven budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and analytical decision support skills
- Strong systems literacy across CRM and Accounting platforms; comfortable adopting modern tooling including AI Copilots for finance
- Execution-focused individual contributor (no direct people management), able to work autonomously
