As part of this exciting growth, we are looking for an Finance Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Yokohama area. The candidate will lead a wide range of financial transactions, from bank payments and customer cash receipts, and will report directly to the CFO in Japan.
What you'll do
Accounting
Lead all aspects of accounting, including:
- Record expense transactions in the ERP (SAP) system while ensuring proper supporting documentation
- Issue customer invoices and ensure timely collection and reconciliation of payments
- Lead monthly and annual closing processes
- Prepare and file required tax reports and ensure timely tax payments
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Ensure timely execution of bank payments
- Support other financial and administrative activities as needed
- Supervise 0–2 accounting staff
Finance
Lead the following:
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting package
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor and control spending

What you'll bring
- 5+ years of work experience as accounting manager
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Strong command of English and Japanese
- Hands-on experience with ERP is a must (SAP preferred)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills including Vlookups, SumIf and pivot tables
- Attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree is preferable
- Additional certification such as USCPA is a plus
