As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support our South Korea business. This role is pivotal in strengthening financial visibility and governance across marketing and administrative spend by driving disciplined planning, spend tracking, investment analysis, and decision support. It will deliver actionable insights on spend effectiveness, resource allocation, and performance measurement to enable informed decisions and sustainable growth.

Position Overview

The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting financial performance and spend effectiveness for SharkNinja in South Korea. You will partner closely with the Marketing and Non-commercial teams to provide financial transparency, strengthen investment governance, and improve decision-making across marketing and administrative activities. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that combines financial acumen, analytical rigor, and strong stakeholder influence.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:

  • Drive visibility of marketing spend through clear classification into the right cost buckets, including differentiation between GTN and marketing investments.
  • Strengthen forecast versus actual reporting for marketing and administrative spend, with analysis by GL, brand/category, and channel to improve transparency and control.
  • Develop and maintain sub-category P&L views to assess ROMI, with clear separation of working and non-working media spend.
  • Support channel performance analysis by enabling the right data structure in EPM and leveraging cost centre level tracking for better decision support.
  • Develop investment scorecards to evaluate marketing effectiveness, incorporating relevant measurement approaches and helping the team build stronger decision-making capabilities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align performance metrics, validate measurement methodologies, and embed consistent ROMI evaluation across marketing activities.
  • Review contracts to ensure appropriate financial oversight and compliance.
  • Guide the business on purchase requisition and goods receipt processes to support timely and accurate expense recognition.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and standardization.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and business initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant FP&A or business finance experience.
  • Strong track record of partnering with the business to drive growth plans, manage forecasts, and anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience in expense management, preferably within FMCG, consumer electronics, or retail industries.
  • Previous experience in budgeting and forecasting, as well as full P&L analysis and reconciliation.
  • Strong self-leadership and self-management, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a fast-changing environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders, with strong financial acumen and business understanding.
  • Ability to analyze large and complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, remain detail-oriented, and meet required timelines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills required, including strong financial modeling capability in Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, EPM, and Power BI is preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Korean (written and verbal) is required to collaborate effectively with regional APAC HQ and local stakeholders.
