ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Associate supports the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company. This role assists in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting compliance requirements. The position works closely with the Finance team to ensure timely and efficient financial operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record and monitor financial transactions including billings, expenses, accruals, and partner payments.
  • Assist in reviewing contract terms, fund transfers, and vendor payment schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records supporting monthly financial reporting.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor advances and payables.
  • Support the month-end closing process and ensure proper recording of transactions.
  • Review settlement reports (e.g., SLP and QAP) to validate financial data accuracy.
  • Process payments to merchants, logistics partners, and vendors.
  • Prepare and record employer government contributions and related payroll entries.
  • Coordinate with banks for employee payroll account setup when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing documents for financial audits and regulatory filings.
  • Support preparation of tax reports including 1604C, 1604E, 1604F, and employee Form 2316.
  • Maintain finance documentation including contracts, compliance files, and financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and outsourced partners to ensure adherence to finance SOPs.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams.
