ABOUT THE ROLE

Far East Union Investment & Development Inc. is seeking a highly capable and trustworthy Finance & Treasury Head to lead the company's finance and treasury functions. The role is responsible for overseeing cash flow management, financial planning, budgeting, treasury operations, financial controls, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with management, the Finance & Treasury Head will provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, investment initiatives, and ongoing real estate and hospitality development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to make a significant impact in a growing investment and development company.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the company's finance and treasury functions, ensuring effective cash flow management and financial stability.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and management reports.
  • Monitor project budgets, operating expenses, and fund utilization to support business objectives and expansion plans.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity and maintain effective financial controls across the company's operations and projects.
  • Manage banking relationships and coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
  • Support project funding requirements, financing activities, and cash planning for ongoing and future developments.
  • Develop and improve financial policies, reporting processes, and internal control systems.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working capital management.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions, business planning, and investment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements while identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including experience in a supervisory, managerial, or leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical finance skills, including Finance, Financial Reporting, and preparation and analysis of Financial Statements.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Extensive experience in treasury operations, cash flow management, and banking relationship management.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience in heading finance or treasury functions, with the ability to guide and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in investment, real estate, property development, or related industries is an advantage
  • A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage

  • Work Arrangement: On-site
  • Location: Makati CBD
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
