Position: Experienced Grant Accountant for SFEI
Join SFEI as an Experienced Grant Accountant and contribute to financial management in a hybrid work environment. Focus on compliance and accurate reporting for various grants.
In this role, you will oversee grant-related financial activities while collaborating with the Grants and Contract team. Candidates should have at least five years of accounting or financial experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. You’ll be responsible for complex financial reporting and compliance with organizational funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and close projects while ensuring compliance
• Prepare detailed financial reports for various funders
• Conduct account reconciliations with the general ledger
• Adhere to federal regulations during audits
• Utilize data analysis techniques for reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance roles
• Expertise in Google Sheets functions like VLOOKUP
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with grant funding processes
