We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to helm a premier, landmark property in the heart of Manhattan. This location is a world-class destination that seamlessly integrates luxury hospitality, high-design workspaces, and prestigious event programming.
This is more than an operational role; it is a General Manager / CEO of the Building mandate. You will be the primary steward of both the cultural soul and the commercial success of a globally recognized hub for innovators, and the creative elite.
Core Responsibilities
- Business Stewardship: Direct P&L responsibility for a high-revenue, multi-concept operation. This includes overseeing premium full-service dining, high-volume social lounges, workspace solutions, and a calendar of large-scale event programming.
- Operational Orchestration: Serve as the "on-the-floor" heartbeat of the property. You will synchronize the daily synergy between five-star service standards, meticulous facilities management, and the flawless execution of tech-integrated, high-production cultural activations.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary, cross-functional team (F&B, Sales, AV, and Experience) to deliver consistent white-glove service in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Community Diplomacy: Act as the face of the property, ensuring the environment remains a premier destination for New York’s most discerning professional and creative communities.
The Ideal Profile
- 8+ years of senior leadership within luxury hospitality, private membership clubs, or flagship premium event venues.
- Commercial Acumen: A "hospitality-first" philosophy balanced with the financial rigor to manage complex budgets, optimize labor, and aggressively drive revenue growth.
- Operational Precision: Deep experience in design-forward environments where aesthetic standards and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
- Relational Intelligence: A natural connector who thrives on navigating high-profile stakeholder relationships with poise and discretion.
